Baccharis Centennial is considered a hybrid between Baccharis pilularis and Baccharis sarothroides. This large bushy evergreen has brilliant green stems which give it a rounded profile. It is exteremely heat an drought tolerant. If the shrub becomes woody, prune in the winter. Limiting water after the plant is established encourages dense growth. Tolerates almost any soil type. Selected for use in the garden. Hybrid of B. pilularis x B. Sarothroides.
