Ceanothus hybrid. This Ceanothus can be grown into a bush with the height of 8 ft and the width of up to 12 ft. It has glossy dark green foliage with medium size blue flowers. It is similar to Ceanothus 'Ray Hartman' It is great to put in a garden and is drought tolerant and can be made into a hedge very easily.'Tassajara Blue' was thought to be a hybrid of Ceanothus arboreus and Ceanothus thyrsiflorus var. griseus and was introduced by Bert and Celeste Wilson of Las Pilitas Nursery. Grows best in sandy, coarse-grained or other fast draining soil. Introduced in 1996 by Las pilitas Nursery. Hybrid of C. arboreus x C. thyrsiflorus var.griseus.
