Small-flowered woodrush (Luzula parviflora subsp. parviflora) is a perennial grasslike herb native to California and also found elsewhere in North America and beyond.

This woodrush forms tidy grass-like clumps 8 to 10 inches tall and a little wider, with broad, bright-green leaf blades. The small yellowish flowers occur on the tips of arching flowering stems in late spring. It is perfect for the woodland garden with moderate moisture. It will seed around if conditions are right but is not weedy.
