Panicled Death Camas (Zigadenus paniculatus) is a native perennial herb that grows in central and northern California. It is moderately fast growing and moderately long-lived. It grows in an upright form to a height of 1.6 feet, with active growth during the spring and summer. Flowers are green and bloom in the mid spring. Leaves are medium green and deciduous. It tends to grow in grassy or wooded slopes and rock outcrops, at elevations from 4000-7000 feet.
