Pursh's Milk Vetch (Astragalus purshii var. lectulus) is a native perennial herb that grows in Northern, Southern and Central California, primarily in the High Sierra Nevada, the Transverse Range and Sierra Nevada East regions. It tends to grow in dry flats and slopes, at elevations from 5900-11000 feet.
