Threadleaf Fleabane (Erigeron filifolius) is a native perennial herb that grows in Southern and Northern California, primarily in the Modoc Plateau region. It is fast growing and short-lived. It grows in an upright form to a height of 1 foot, with active growth during the spring and summer. Flowers are purple and striking, and bloom in the late summer. Leaves are medium green and deciduous. It tends to grow at elevations from 4000-6500 feet.
