Adenocaulon bicolor is a flowering plant in the daisy family known as American trailplant. It is found in southern Canada and across the northern and western United States. This plant has a very thin erect branching stem surrounded by triangular leaves only at the base. Upon the branches are tiny flower clusters of white flowers, each flower measuring only a few millimeters in width. Around each flower cluster grows a distinctive array of club-shaped fruits covered in tiny glands on stalks. Trailplant can be found in the understory of woods and forests.
