Sanborn's Onion (Allium sanbornii var. sanbornii) is a rare native perennial herb that grows in Central and Northern California, primarily in the Cascade Range Foothills and Sierra Nevada Foothill region. It tends to grow in rocky outcrops, at elevations from 1000-4600 feet.
