Aruncus dioicus (goat's beard or bride's feathers) is a plant in the rose family, Rosaceae. It is a herbaceous plant with alternate, pinnately compound leaves, on thin, stiff stems. The flowers are white, borne in summer. This plant can be found throughout Europe, Asia, and eastern and western North America. In the UK it is considered suitable for planting in and around water areas
