Ceanothus hybrid. Grows best in sandy, coarse-grained or other fast draining soil. Hybrid introduced by Bert & Celeste Wilson from Las pilitas Nursery in the 199's. parentage is unknown but hybrid could include C. impressus var. nipomensis.
