Castlegar hawthorn (Crataegus castlegarensis) is a deciduous shrub in the rose family (Rosaceae) native to the northern and western regions of North America. It closely resembles black hawthorn and features bright green leaves, clusters of small cream-colored flowers that bloom from May to June, and crimson to burgundy berries in late summer. The berries, which resemble tiny apples, appear in August. Its twigs are armed with long thorns.

Castlegar hawthorn works well as a woodland shrub or small tree. It supports butterflies and moths, and its berries are a valuable food source for birds.
