Cliff Desertdandelion (Malacothrix saxatilis var. saxatilis) is a rare native perennial herb that grows in Southern and Central California, primarily in the South Coast and Transverse Range regions. It tends to grow in sand dunes and open places, at elevations from 0-6600 feet.
