We have designed and built native gardens in the East Bay since 1984, and became a worker-owned cooperative in 2024. Our landscapes connect people to their local plants and wildlife using primarily native plants, naturalistic designs and long-lasting materials, as well as edible plants. We also offer skilled horticulture services to maintain and enhance gardens using sustainable practices. We take pride in our role as leaders in sustainable landscaping and California native plant horticulture. Many of our gardens have been featured on the Bringing Back the Natives tour.
