For the last 15 years, we have thrived as a small design/build studio located in Long Beach, CA, specializing in native and drought tolerant gardens using a watershed approach. We maintain gardens primarily within our service area of Long Beach and the South Bay. We do hardscape (masonry & carpentry), irrigation, and lighting as well as planting to create a holistic and harmonious environment that suits our clients' needs. We believe in healing our relationship with the Earth for the benefit of ourselves, our community, and the planet. More often than not, our clients become long lasting friends. In addition to our residential clients, we regularly work with Habitat for Humanity, the Surfrider Foundation, and the City of Long Beach. The owner, Kai Lao Craig, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation from UC Berkeley and a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona.
