Planting Plans for the home gardener. I provide a list of plants and a hand drawn to scale illustrated plan for installation by others. I can help with overall layout of the space, and suggested locations for pathways, furniture, etc. My typical project can be integration of California native plants within an existing landscape or a complete California native garden. However, in my experience, budget concerns and customer's attachment to old growth plants normally end up defining a portion of the projects I design. My typical customer is DIY or can handle partial installation of the designs I provide. My background is in land use planning and architecture, so I like to ensure the project is designed to fit the use and aesthetic of the customer.
