About the business

West Coast Wild Ecological Restoration (WCW) works for a variety of clients offering both habitat restoration services and native plants. We are a fully licensed and insured C27 contractor and Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner by the Society for Ecological Restoration. Our mission is to restore native ecosystems by removing non-native and invasive plant species and planting locally native vegetation that brings back the natural community structure, provides habitat for wildlife, and revives ecosystem functions from residential yards to acres of wildlands. We assess a site, design an appropriate revegetation plan, and implement each phase, such as invasive and noxious weed management, seed and cutting collection and propagation, plant installation, live stake collection/installation, and vegetation monitoring and reporting. WCW brings unique skills in working on a wide range of projects for homeowners, corporate clients, farms, nonprofits and government agencies. In addition to restoration and landscaping services, WCW is also a native plant nursery in Sebastopol, CA growing plants for our restoration projects, contract grows, and online orders.
