Home Ground Habitats is a non-profit native plant nursery and butterfly sanctuary. We are located in the beautiful Indian Valley area of Novato. We have an acre of habitat gardens to explore and provide inspiration for your garden. We sell hard to find habitat plants to the public on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 1-4pm and by appointment. We also sell our seeds online. Your plant and seed purchases go to supporting local community and school habitat garden projects to which we donate hundreds of plants each year.
We source seeds locally and from our gardens and hand harvest and sort them. We grow and sell hard to find habitat plants. We grow many straight species from seed.

We grow organically, and do not use neonics or any other pesticide.
