The Yellow and White Monkeyflower, Erythranthe bicolor (formerly Mimulus bicolor), is an annual herb endemic to California. It is found from the Klamath and Cascade Range south through the western Sierra Nevada, in mountain and foothill locales. It grows in moist or wet areas, often in clay soils.

This annual wildflower produces a hairy, erect stem 1.5 to 10.5 inches (4-27 cm) tall, and blooms from April to June its native range. The linear to nearly oval leaves are each up to 3 centimeters long and arranged in opposite pairs about the stem. The tubular base of the flower is surrounded by a reddish-green freckled calyx of sepals with small, pointed lobes.
The flower corolla is 1 to 2 centimeters long and divided into two lips. The upper lip has two lobes, the lower three, and each lobe has two sub-lobes at its tip. The two lips vary in color but often the upper lip is white and the lower is yellow.
