Palmer's Penstemon (Penstemon palmeri var. palmeri) is a native perennial herb that grows in Northern, Southern and Central California, primarily in the Desert Mountains and Mojave Desert regions. It tends to grow in washes and canyon floors, at elevations from 3600-7500 feet.
